Are we talking about tires or splittails?

Can be a bitch when you go outside the duflop HD tires. I liked the nightdragons but the mich com II have been the best overall. Looking forward to trying the ME888 on the front.

Just following Softies lead looks like the OP is on task and does not wish to be drug into the gutter even though I left an opening.

Yes. Traction was good but not as good as the ME 880's. 880's didnt last long at all. The Com II's have been the best over all. In 130,000 miles ive tried a bunch of different brands.

Not trying to open the can of worms. Just my opinion I'd disagree fully with that statement. I rode liter bikes for years and weekend shreddin was the normal thing. Ride hard, fast and draggin corners. I've ridden them back to back dropping from a 190 to 180 with noticeable difference actually. Rode with a few guys that dropped that 190 for 180's as well specifically chasing a more nimble bike. This has nothing to do with the ply concern mentioned here lol. Just size for size comparison.

That's good to hear, I've been wondering about those comparisons. I always had great Metzlers on two previous BMW's but was leaning to the Com II's this time.

Well I called and talked to a Pirelli tech today and if the R or B is omited in the tire info its considered a bias ply and which they reccomend to keep it the same construction front and rear for best performance..so for those of you that didnt know..including myself..
