Default True-Track Stabilizer vibration question

Installed the True-track stabilizer on my '04 Superglide. Just curious, it seems like I feel a bit more vibration through the pegs and seat. Does anyone know, is this normal. Thinking that maybe I'm being overly sensitive. Otherwise, I do like it, and the bike does feel a bit more solid, only put about 100 miles on since the install.

I never noticed increased vibration but I could see the possibility with the way a True Track helps secure the motor mounts in the lateral direction. Hopefully it is not too bad because I think the TT really pays off in hard cornering.

I put mine on put I haven't even started it yet. It seems like some people say they feel more vibration and some don't. I wonder if it has anything to do with how old the motor mounts are?

I was wondering the same about the motor mounts. I looked at them, and they didn't look like they needed changing, but I also don't have another Dyna to compare mine too.

Default True Track

Did you put stabilizer on the transmission also, or just the front ?

Installed front and rear. I've heard that it's not advisable to just install on the front.

As the 'Pilot' has said, you might notice a bit more vibes because of the way the TT bracket mounts directly to the frame and through the motor mount, but I've never found it to be objectionable at all considering all the benefits the TT has to offer. Possible a softer (as in worn out) motor mount might result in more vibes being transferred through the TT/frame contact points.

To align/realign the stock mounts the FSM says to loosen all the bolts a bit and to run the engine for like 5 seconds and then retighten. I can only assume that is to shake everything into place. FSM says this procedure will eliminate any unintended vibration. Wonder if this same procedure should be used for the new mounts.
