Default manifold

I need help removing my manifold. I have a air leak and need to replace the seals

It seems kind of involved. I cant even get my wrench and socket allen in there.

I think i need to remove the tank right? Maybe cut down the allen socket? How tight do these need to be anyone have a torque value?

Please hook me up with some tips amd tricks to changing my seals

apetterez,
You should have bought a service manual by now.

You refuse to buy a manual but are continually modifying different parts on your bike. Is your reluctance because you can't read? The manual does have pictures.

Got to agree with the others. You post quite a but of stuff you buy and put on your bike. I'm sure you can afford the service manual and not rely on others to hold your hand.

cut down allen wrench to break them loose, ball end allen to unscrew them. It is a tight squeeze but it can be done without removing the tank. You're unlikely to get a torque wrench in there so just tighten them up as much as possible with the cut down wrench. The flanges only fit one way, and should be flat against the head surface once tight. Put a little grease on the seals as well.
