Default Busy winter work

Finally got done with my build and starting the breakin process.

107 build CP pistons with 6cc domes
Darkhorse plug/ welded crank and timkin coversion. Lefty bearing on the cam side.
Ported heads decked for 88cc with kibblewhite valves and springs good to .650 lift
S&S 585 cams
1.725 rockers on the intake side only
Drag specialties high performance oil pump and new cam plate
55mm HPI/1.8 runners with 4.9 injectors
R&R overflow air filter setup for external breathers
Screamin Eagle manual primary chain tensioner.
1.125 wide drive belt 30/68 pulleys
All the bearings in the motor/primary have been replaced.
Barnett CF clutch disks/ with the stock Harley disks for the 1st and last disk.
Barnett HD clutch spring.
Treated myself to new progressive 444 shocks.

Not sure exactly what I'll do on the breather arrangement. But this will get me on the road for breakin and dyno.

Quick clip of a heat cycle

That's looks like a really well thought out build! Those rockers on the intake side increase your lift too right(cannot remember the # you multiply by)?Putting that 1 1/8" belt on is slick, I want to do that too. Are you going to dyno it? Nice work for sure!

That was a lot of work. You must have long winters. Great looking bike.

I got it to the dyno today, She made 121.6hp 119.74tq. Clutch held great.

On a funny note..the computer crashed on the last run. Then they go to print out the sheet and they run out of ink !

I requested and was able to be there for the whole dyno process. That was pretty cool. Learned a wee bit more !

Many thanks to Target64, his build was an inspiration to head down this path. His 107 is incredible.

That was a 6th gear run to get those numbers. I'm running a 30/68 combo. At 60mph in 6th gear I'm running 2450 rpm.

I had a local guy do the heads. It was all a hand port job. He does'nt flow the heads either. He mentioned no one want to pay the price for getting the flow work done. I put my faith in his experience. He was skeptical about me picking the HPI 55mm. The results sure changed his mind.

Appears the fatcat perforated baffle must have hurt torque a little.

I was really impressed with how the clutch feels. I still have a great friction zone and she hooks up. And I run formula+ in the primary. Good for the compensator.

Alot of reading/research went into this.
