l changed mine too. Risers are from an FXDC and the headlight is from my VRSCDX, they're the same as a standard FXD headlight once you remove the cowl. My dealer fitted the indicator relocation kit and l did the rest. The wiring is pretty easy to follow back and disconnect to remove the standard risers

Default FXDL bars

Looks good, was thinking of doing that to my 14 FXDL. Do have to lean forward quite a bit now since the bars are lower? Thanks.

No, not really. They're standard Lowrider bars and l've changed the controls back to the standard Dyna mid mounts as well. l find the riding position fairly neutral, l don't feel like a windsock and l'm not like a half open pocket knife either. Another benefit is it makes the seat more comfortable too, my weight is more evenly distributed between my inner thighs and tailbone rather than being concentrated on my tailbone like it was with the standard risers and footpeg position.

Good job and nice looking.
Was wondering what you did with the t/s, neutral, oil light indicator lights as I can't see them? They were mounted in the cowl assy I think.

On my '15, all the lights formerly on the "dummy" light strip are now within the gauges themselves. Actually on the gauge face. I like and don't like all at the same time...

Shellbacker, the bars look awesome! Sweet setup. How do they compare to the stock setup in terms of height and pull-back? I'm trying to decide between the 8" (same as yours) or 10". If the 8" are a little higher and come back slightly more than stock, then I'm sold. If it's the same as stock, then I will go with the 10". Also, did the DK custom relocation parts work out for you? Very curious and interested to see pics. Thanks!

Shellbacker,
Longtime lurker myself and have been looking for a bar setup that would get rid of the visor and not need the $ for new cables and wiring harness work. Curious if you had the part # of the 8 in bars handy--the reason I ask is bc the Wild ones site lists those with a 7 in pullback but that profile picture you posted looks less than that. Also curious if you are able to lock out the steering without any cable issues. If you have any pics of the final setup would love to see. For my headlight looking at the EMD Vitamin A and the Todds cycle shop recessed mount bracket. Thanks!
