I looked around and I'm just trying to get some solid results on this seat, ultimately I'd like to move forward and down a bit, but it appears that most of these seats will tear you a new one. At 5'6" and lower back issues I really cant afford a super stiff seat that pushes me back. I dig the Danny Grays and C&C's but these move you back as much as they lower you, and having them add foam is much more then my pocket will allow right now.
Currently running forwards but I have a feeling my lower back wont allow it for long, my spine will absorb all the impact, instead of taking some of the sting out with my knees on mids. Curious how the Daytona Sport will position me. Going on an 04 Super Glide with Wide Glide rear fender.
Thanks.
I have the Daytona 2 up in Regal style. It's pretty comfy but a little narrow for the long haul. It looks great on my bike. I don't think it sits me further back, maybe a little lower due to it being narrower. It sounds like you need mid controls or further forward mids that the new Low Rider comes with. I think you should go to the nearest HD dealer and sit on a few bikes.

The stock 2up puts my in a good position, I can get flat, and have no problems with reaching the bars or forwards....just looking for a lil more streamline seat for round town. Cant really afford to go back much or really at all.
I had the LePera Daytona Sport on a '05 Sportster a few years ago and liked it. I now have a Mustang Fastback on my '04 FXDL and like it. Very similar seats and I don't think either changed seating position very much but I do love the lower back support of either seat.
If you are careful with the unpacking, most retailers (especially on-line) will allow a return if you buy it but don't like the fit. Ask retailer their return policy before you buy and a quick test could be free.
Do you have any pix of the Fastback on your bike? I can't seem to find that model on their site, perhaps you remember the seat part #?
thanks.

good looking seat, can't seem to find it to fit my 04 FXDI
That's because seats for '04-05 only fit those 2 years. I was able to buy mine two years ago at a great price because of that. However, that retailer sold out their stock because next time I looked it was removed it from their site.
