Default LED Headlights

Anyone have a recommendation for LED headlight for FXDWGI? I can't justify $400 for Daymaker, but MotoIllumination looks pretty nice for $160. Anyone tried the MotoIllumination 5.75" one?

I have the motoillumination, don't have a ton of time on it yet but it fit nicely, is super bright and much more noticeable in day and night. I don't know about longevity yet but nobody has complained so far. Well worth the price IMO. If you search my threads started I have a short one with pics of it lit both day and night

I just installed a LED in mine and only got to check it in garage. Got the H4 equivalent like you can find all over the place now.

I got the Daymaker for Christmas a couple years ago and like it a lot. I'm sure any of the other brands would be an improvement over stock if you don't want to shell out the cash though

I went with an upgraded plasma bulb for $45 since I couldn't afford the LED switch at the time. And for the cost, I've been very pleased.

Thumbs up NAVIGATORZ LEDs

These guys offer state-of-the-art LED replacement bulbs in different sizes to fit all models of Harleys (both headlights and side lights). They don't have clumsy heat sinks or fans. The copper braid used for cooling is flexible and can be moved into any position where you can "stuff it". The LED chips are fully encapsulated to protect them from the elements. They offer headlight bulbs in 6000K bright white and 1156, 1157 bulbs in white, red, and amber.

I can personally attest to how difficult it is to install one of the ones with the fans. That was the longest part of the install. Had to keep trying to cram everything in there and finally it was just right and I got to put the ring back on. With the small housing there is not much room so the heat sink braids are ideal.
