Looking to change exhaust. Advise needed
I'm looking to change exhaust on my 99 Wide Glide. I currently run V&H Staggered Slash Cut Short Shots, love the sound, but going for a different look.
I want to go with a 2-2 Long exhaust that go all the way or past the beck end.
Also, want the largest diameter ones that will give me the same sound, performance if not louder than my SHort SHots.
Any suggestions and pics.

Just looked it up and you are correct. I liked the Longshots but wanted the connection/powerchamber, so went to the BSLs. The Longshots are nice and loud, if that's what your after. Could I say there is a performance difference? Not without a dyno, to be honest.

There may be other manufacturers, Freedom is one.
The Longshots may be a bit smaller in diameter, but not much.
The power chamber equalizes the exhaust pulses between the cylinders, producing better scavenging and low end torque. Supposedly a hybrid exhaust designed to somewhat behave like a 2-1.
