Default bigger wheel on rear of 98 dyna wide glide?

My stock wheel is 16 inch. Will a 17 inch off an 03 softtail deuce fit?

According to this chart you can go up to an 18x4.5 on the DWG without any motorcycle modification in the rear. That is if your bike has a 16x3 wheel in the rear like the 2000 model.

Says the softail duece is a 17x4.5 so I doubt you would have any issues.

I've got an 18 x 5" wheel on my 02 WG. Had to go aftermarket on the brakes.
