Eh, maybe. News of his death seems to have popped up late Wed. My package shipped on Mon or Tues. If his passing is true, it could have been sudden (heart attack, stroke, blood clot, etc)
Wonder if someone who said someone is dead without positive, legit, verification would like it if their family member was posted...total bulshit. If he has passed, verify it before posting it on a world wide site. Show respect. If not, find out, verify it, confirm it from a LEGIT source....screw Facebook. You think that is a legit site for news? Ever heard of fake news?Damn, get it right, either way, before you post something like this-

Accurate Engineering is owned by Berry Wardlaw he is a legitimate source. If you don't know who they are you need to do your research. The successful side of custom engine building in the aftermarket motorcycle industry is not that large, the people in this business who have been at it for 20 years or more, all know who's who. If it wasn't true we would have seen a retraction by Berry or someone else in the industry. I am not surprised it showed up on Facebook first as a lot of information good and bad is passed on there.
I am deeply saddened by Alan's passing, I have a few of his parts on my motorcycle and have had hour long conversations with him on the phone a few times, he was a brilliant man who shared his knowledge and advice freely. My hope is his son will continue the business.
