Does this Oil Cooled WOrk?

I actually already run one of these, just wondering if anyone also has one & has noticed an improvement. I may need to do some before & after tests when the weather gets warmer.. All I noticed last sumer was that with it ny oil would still get into the 240's..

the fins on this thing are so small though, hard to believe they really do anything.

I don't run an oil cooler but instead run a set of Wards Fans. Never gets over 239 degrees in the hottest part of summer.

I have seen these for a lot of years but as of yet I don't see how it could help very much because of how it works. I use the HD cooler and ward fans on the touring bikes. But I Dyno due my smaller bikes which run cool enough without any help.

This is not the same thing at all, Fringe posted a link to a billet heat sink that slips over the HD oil filter, what you're referring to a permanent oil filter which after years of using permanent oil filters on sport bikes and HD's I believe do work as advertised, oil pump drag is reduced, they provide superior filtration and flow rates, and with the amount of heat I feel radiating off them I'd suspect they do provide some added cooling

I did a few runs with this slip on, could not get any definitive results, it would take some real lab testing to determine if it does anything. Had I known better I would have just put that $47 towards a real oil cooler or 1 of those reusable filters.
