Default Mixed Oils on Accident, Now what?
I was getting my 2008 Super Glide ready for spring and changing all my oils and must have had a major BRAINFART and ended up putting Redline Heavy Shock Proof Gear Oil in my primary. After I was done I went on a nice 40 mile ride. It wasn't until I got back and started to clean up the garage that I noticed my mistake.

How bad is this for my Primary?

You didn't hurt anything. Just drain the primary and put in the 20W50 you normally put in and just go.

I'm with tar on that one - no dammage just change that oil out again and your down the cost of a quart of oil!

Soooo if you put your shockproof in the primary, what ended up in the trans after you dropped that oil is what I'm wondering??? Lol.
