I removed the cat from my stock exhaust, increased sound a bit but not too much, muffler is cooler after ride now. the cat looks very restrictive, stock muffler sounds nice without the cat.
I have left the cat in place but installed the Screamin' Eagle Nightstick slip on with 5 disks and Supertrapp (they make the slip on for H-D) open end cap. Does me perfect.
is it loud by loud I don't mean obnoxious but loud as in what a Harley should sound like
I am long past obnoxious pipes. This set up, while still polite at traffic lights and leaving for work at 0500, has a nice low toned bark to it when giving it the go juice.
