I did have a loose front tank mount bolt which should fix my issue with noise. However my front forks are very soft and I will have to change out oil. Approx 12,500 miles. Hopefully just the oil change from info I've read on this forum.
I get front fork 'clunk' off-and-on when braking. I've seen quite a few references to this issue. I've been told this is 'normal' for Dyna front ends, or at least not a concern.
Any comments?
Thanks in advance.
I had a clunk I would swear was the forks. One day I had my bike on my jack and noticed the rubber stop for the side stand was not in the proper position and the stand was against the frame. When I hit a bump the stand would knock against the frame and the noise would travel up the frame making me think it was the forks or a loose tank. I put the rubber stand stop back in the proper location and no more clunk.
