Default battery cover
Does anyone have a OEM battery cover that is the pre 13-14 style with the trim that they would like to sell? I did a quick search in the classifieds and really didn't see anything so figured I would try here before I bought a new one somewhere.

I guess you mean for a Street Bob then? I got one from a Wide Glide, it says wide glide on the trim.

It can be any with the trim I assume 06 up the cover should be the same. I would remove the trim and use it for a bad&g bag, I just don't like the kind that straps on the frame.

check ebay, they come up fairly cheap sometimes. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I bought the harley swing arm bag instead.

Yeah did a quick look found a damaged one for $30 with $15 shipping, hell can get a new one for just a little more but I will keep an eye out on there and craigslist.

I got mine from the Wide Glide I don't need. But I live in Sweden and the shipping would be a bitch. It would be cheaper for you to buy a new one.

Couldn't you just drill the holes in your existing cover and use it (it's just four holes, and the B&G bag could be your template for where to drill the holes)?.

Maybe I'm missing something, and I can understand that you might want to keep all your old discarded parts in "as-new condition" for when you eventually sell the bike...

You don't have to drill out the cover the holes in the bag line up with the holes in the cover thats under the chrome. I bought a new one for 42.00 and saved the one that was on there to keep it nice.

Yeah was wanting to save my stock one in case but I may end up just drilling it and saving money.
