Oh man, that's Easy Rider, a classic.

I had me some real good fried chicken in Edenton, NC, lots of nice folk there in those parts.

Watch out for turtles crossing the roads though, don't hit 'em, they's just turtles.

Oh I know the movie very well!

I like turtles, especially when properly cooked

Had a leisurely start to the day. Found an HD dealer in the town I stayed I last night and picked up a throttle assist. Like it so far still playing with adjustment. Detoured to Blowing Rock NC, Tweetsie Railroad wasn't open but Canyon's restaurant is! Sitting here enjoying a local Lager, duck burger and incredible view. Time to get to my meetings next though, should be a short hour ride to Beech Mountain.

Token motorcycle in each shot why do we do that lol!

NOTHING beats laying down miles on the pavement! Sounds like you're having a good run. Pictures damn it, I want pictures! Be safe!

Edit: You did post pics while I was typing. Bike looks good too. Cheers!

I'm only getting one big run this year since me and mama are expecting a little one due in November, which is cutting into my road tripping and screwin' off fund lol. So I'm going to do a Mini-Tour. North Bound out of AZ into UT (through Zion Nation Park, up and over through Moab), then to CO (stopping in Durango during the Four Corners Bike Rally) and finally making a pitstop at Four Corners and back into AZ from the East. I can't wait!

Thanks!

That sounds like an incredible ride, perfect if that will be your big opportunity. Congrats on the incoming family, that's the best thing ever albeit bye bye sleep.

Looks like weather coming back tomorrow afternoon so will probably have to hightail it back home after the morning meeting. I may need to go for a short afternoon ride so I can check out Grandfather Mountain which is about 45 minutes away.

Robbyville,
Be sure when you get home to tighten up the cam on your bags maybe half a turn. They most likely have found their sweet spot by now.

Good call, is that the assembly that tightens the spring? Probably right, I've been taking the bags off and on for hotel and such. Thanks for the advice!

Tonight's pics, wasn't able to get any good shots of the bike in front of landmarks and tomorrow looks like I'll have to boogie home quickly since meetings don't end until 10:30 and it's a minimum of 5.5 hours if I take Interstate all the way. We'll see. But I spent some time in Boone and then Banner Elk NC this afternoon, then dinner with the other resort folks.

Great double cap from Banner Elk cafe

View from Beech Mtn Club, nice!

Yes, you have to loosen the jam nut then turn the barrel bolt. Can`t remember which way but try one way then check the resistance when you push the lever down. You will feel if it is the correct way. Also, the clamp jaws on the bag, in time, will have a small indentation from being clamped on the SS posts. That`s normal and what I call the "sweet spot"
