went on a 1600 mile ride this weekend and got cut off by some idiot. had to lay the bike down. no damage to me but the heat shields on my new big radius are toast. anybody know where i can get replacments. i tried v and h site and j and p site but they only have replacements for softtails. note: i guess it was partly my fault i was in his blind spot.
I know you checked the V&H site, but did you try calling them?
I got a replacement shield for my other bike, but I had to call them because it wasn't listed on their site.
They were very helpful.
Bike parts are cheaper than body parts.
Glad you came out ok.
Good luck.
I had to replace the sheild on my Big Shots Staggered after the bike shifted up against a wheel well while trailering down to Bike Week. It was a small dent and scratched the chrome, not very visible but to me it was a big deal, especially on a new bike. Anyway I called V&H and they shipped one out to me the next day.
