Finally got my DK outlaw 587 complete kit installed. First time I have ever done an ac but I am somewhat mechanically inclined but not a mechanic by any means. This was a pretty easy job with the directions included. I'm hoping everything is hooked up right, bikes starts and runs fine. Weather sucks didn't get to test ride yet. The only question I had was when I removed the old ac unit there was a wire hook up on the back that doesn't seem to go anywhere, what is this and can I just tuck it somewhere?
The tubes come out of the engine and routed back into the filter, but don't go through any of the filtration, just right into the throttle body

I had to clamp the tube onto the stock breather bolts because they wouldn't stay
The plug you found behind the A/C is for an air sensor used on European bikes, zip-tie it up and out of the way, no problem Interesting way to setup your external breather...
Hey man to each his own but I couldn't stand it. I actually took this off before the reflectors or anything else. I would definitely recommend the breather system even with the stock ac just to keep things clean.
I have the same one and leg clearance is great. Nice job on the install! With using the stock breather bolts will your external breather still work properly? I routed mine the same way and it works really well
