thanks guys, difference with this build is i added a car and a son into the mix, so prob will be pretty slow build for a while.

here is a newb question, anyone know with the 15's how much cable length im working with for bars. is it like the older street bob and you could run 12's no problem? i measured the mini apes and they look to be about 9"

and some pics/ first thoughts on the ride

i really like that there is a gear indicator and rpm display. also a clock. brakes feel preety good and motor feels strong even though im in the break in period. never had a new bike, so im following what i was told. 1k miles all under 3k rpms with out lugging the motor. no full throttle and be careful as the new brakes and tires are wearing in.

i am really glad that this model came with a top clamp that accepts regular risers.

rear shocks suck for my big ***, need some 13" stat... and a better seat pronto.

question. i want to turn the licence plate holder so it points down instead of straight out. any suggestions... also. at the bottom of the front down tubes there is an extra black box, what is that for? i wish it was a oil cooler but i dont think it is

The license plate bracket is 2 pieces. You can unbolt the outer piece and rotate it down to fit the plate up and down. That bottom black box is the lovely California evap cannister.
