Brake issues?
So just replaced the pads on the bike, it's a 2011 fxdwg. I cracked the reservoirs to spread the pads, got it all back together and my rear barely makes pressure and front make about 50% of what they used too... Gonna try bleeding them and see if they firm up, any other ideas?
But with respect, there are ways to bleed brake lines properly that require far less than 200 pumps.
There has to be a couple thousand videos on youtube showing simple yet effective methods,, cars and bikes are pretty much the same.
My favorite is using a tube off the bleeder into a bottle with brake fluid,,
Or simply open the bleeder when pressing down, then close it before release, repeat a few times and done,,
It's too easy to do it right.
I just went and got a speed bleeder, now I'm stuck doing Mother's Day crap at the in laws... Have to wait a few hours to fix it.. Let all know.. Can't stand her mom so might end up wasted and have to do it tomorrow!!!
Ok so mothers day was um.... Well let's just say today I got a speed bleeder and bled the front and rear, man for just having a 10k service less than 1500 miles ago and making sure they said they did it, the fluid was black as oil, anyway got them bled and hve brakes now..
