I have a 13 bob with the flush mount fuel caps and I'm starting to think the fuel gauge is really off. I'm getting about 100 miles before its saying empty and it's only taking $10 to fill it up. I've never rode the bike without these so I really don't know how much fuel the tank should hold.

Thanks in advance
4.7 gal should be your tank capacity. Use you trip a or b when you fill. When you get around 120 or so it should be reading close to empty. If you don't know your mpg right now figure out what you are getting. They purposely leave you to around 1-1.5 gal as a cushion and to protect the fuel pump from overheating from lack of fuel.
No tank lift on this one! Had it on the last one and mileage sucked so I didn't bother this time
tank lift will not effect fuel economy come on! As long as you fill the tank slowly and right to the top there won't be much difference at all.
And my flush mount fuel guage makes the gas "idiot light" come on early too. As said earlier ;record your mileage once or twice and don't be affraid to rely on youself rather than the guage. after a few shots, or tankfulls you will know just how far to push it.
