Hey Ya'll, got a question for ya. First some history. On 3/28 I ordered a black Thunderheader 1035b from an online vender. On Wednesday it will be 9 weeks since I placed my order. They took the money from my account the day I placed the order. They say the are at the mercy of Thunderheader shipping dept and that Thunderheader treats them like s@&$. I've only run thunderheader a on my bikes since my fxr in the 90s. Love those pipes but how long should I wait? Think I should get a refund? The vender told me in an email that Thunderheader is 1% owned and that they are tired of their B.S. WTF? Thanks for replies and advice. Also just want to say I have no problems with the vendor. Made plenty orders from them with no problem. Just how long before I lose my self respect.

Get your money back. Just curious. Did you order online or over the phone? Did they note when your order would be shipped? When I can't order directly from the manufacture, I still call them to find out if they have them on the shelf, ready to be shipped to their dealers. Good luck.
Ordered online. Said in their terms 3-6 weeks. I'm looking at that bassani road rage pipe. I like the looks. Pretty loud? I check out the D and D. Thanks ya'll
I know a guy that works for directcyclepart.com and he said that the thunderheader is on backorder for months because of all the sons of anarchy wannabes making their bikes like the ones on the show. If thats what you are set on and you don't mind waiting, just wait. I don't have that kind of patience myself.
D&D would be hard to to beat but those are real loud too. And then so is a thunderheader. I bet a TH would be louder than a bassani or equal.
You said the vendor emailed you, can't you call this place? 9 weeks is a long *** fkn' time to wait for a damn pipe.
Personally I am running with my supermeg it's quiet beside a cop car at idle and can be kept under control, but when I twist it heads turn, chicks smile and woosses pee their pants!
