8 fxdc... has anyone had an issue with there bikes security system completely demobilizing it? Red key light stays on and bike wont start...
Honestly man... that doesn't sound like a security issue, that sounds like something else. Hate to ask all the dumb questions... have you checked your starter switch? starter itself? Maybe battery?
I may be completely wrong... but I've never heard of any security system preventing the bike from starting, provided the fob is nearby.

Do a diag and see if you’re getting an error code, quick google search should tell you what it is, the number assuming there’s a code. If not I would check your charging system/ battery. I had an issue where I needed to replace my old battery. Hope it helps

everything is on the up and up..brand new battery,new fob battery, and all new fuses. I can bypass everything and jump start the bike, but because demobilizer is activated, bike dies. Bike even got hooked to diagnostic computer and reads no codes...at a complete loss here.
i know this is an old thread, but i am an old man (73) ... anyway, just got this 2003 Anniv. FXD Super Glide ... only 9,030 miles on her .... lots of chrome to get me home, hehehe, .. AND only 4 days before xmas 2022 .... been riding for over 50 yrs and this is my 4th Harley ... battery side carbureted derby cover Wille G next to new tires Willie G saddle bags Harley seat custom pin striped flames on both fenders and tank
