Need to pull the trigger, front fork spring rate question
Intiminators have been in for the last year w/stock springs in my 2012 FXDWG. Have ordered the SM preload adjusters and the last piece in the puzzle is the Traxxion springs. Most comments I have read on the forum have been for SG's, FB's etc. Looking for someone who has the setup on the WG forks. Assume that with the additional rake on the WG, less of my weight is distributed on the forks so I wouldn't necessarily need the same spring rate that someone else of the same weight would use on a FB or SG. Weight varies between 200-220# and am looking for a softer ride. Trying to decide on a .85 or .90 spring rate. Has anyone done a similar setup and is a .85 spring rate to soft?
