Alright, just curious to find out from some of you guys, bought my bike with 4200 miles on it. They did the 5k service, I have put about 2700 miles on, about to leave on a 3-4k round trip depends on weather and time how far we go. Do I change oil now or after? Makes sense to me to do it after but with a 2 year extended warranty I don't want to void anything. Whats your opinion

Being how you could potentially end up with 6700 miles if it was mine I would go ahead change it, especially if the existing oil has been in there for months
Absolutely, change it first. If you're concerned about 'warranty' keep your receipts and a maintenance log, heck take a couple of pictures as you're doing the fluids and save them. Owners spend too much time fretting over HD's supposed warranty rather than making the bike their own, when I bought my '13 Wide Glide I proceeded from the notion the warranty doesn't exist and did what I wanted, I trust my abilities a lot more than the revolving door of here today gone tomorrow service tech's at the local dealers...
I suppose I should also throw out there that I bought it from the dealer they did the 5k at 4280. I bought this past april, so oil hasn't been in there for months. I got a trip from Minnesota to Massachusetts this month, then in august MN to SD.
