Head Light Bulb Talk

I have an Adjure lens & a 55w Adjure bulb. The lens is great but the bulb seems no better that stock. I rarely ride at night but I wanted a whiter light just for looks.. so I bought a star white PIAA.

I was pretty shocked to discover that the adjure bulb completely melted the harness. But I just got a standard replacement harness, there was so "high temp" in the stores..

Installed it all, the bulb is awesome,,

then was going though my old parts box and found the heavy duty wire leads that came with the adjure lens,, I think they include these leads knowing that their bulb will melt a harness...

so now ****, I don't want to take this all apart again even though it will only take 10 minutes,, maybe i'm just lazy...

Do you all think the PIAA bulb will melt my harness & can any problems?

screw it, I took the 10 minutes & put in the heavy duty leads that came with the adjure light,

still interested to know if the PIAA bulb will melt a harness or not?

You might want to invest in a ceramic headlight socket. They might be available at your local auto parts store. If not do a search because they are available on ebay and amazon.
