Broke Down
Hello everyone,
iam needing some input today as the bike broke down far from home.
I went to start it and it turned over 2 twice but did not start.
things I know ....
ignition is good
battery has 13v
kill switch is working.
auxillary on ignition works ,
but when turned to the right
no power anywhere at all.
fuses are good and so Is main .
any ideas ?

at terminal A the red/black wire at the back of the ignition switch with it turned on is 12 volts present ? you say there is only power in the aux position. that is terminal c the red/gray wire. if there is no power coming out on red/black wire needs a switch.

A battery with a shorted cell can do that, but I've also had a corroded ground wire do that. Passes enough current for a VOM to read, can even handle the lights sometimes, but everything dies when you try putting starter current on it. Sounds like you'll have a new battery before getting back on the forum - if that doesn't change the situation, try loosening and cleaning the other end of the battery ground wire.
