Hey guys, it's a me!
I'm about to put a smaller oil filter on my bike to get it from interfering with my stator plug so I guess I'm going to go ahead and complete a full oil change for the first time on my 93 Dyna Wide Glide with the Evo engine. Question: What type of oil should I use, anybody out there that has had better experiences with a particular kind/type? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
I thought it was a joke when I first read b/c most forum savvy folks know it's a faux pas to ask oil related questions but I figured he needed a break so I left it alone. I'm actually surprised no one has posted the lmgtfy link.
It's expensive at $59.99 a quart, but it's blended just for your engine.
Just send me your bike and engine make, model and year; your riding style, and your mother's maiden name and I'll mix up a special blend that's guaranteed to protect your motor for life. (some restrictions apply)
6 quart minimum purchase.
Or, you could just use the oil specs from your bike's manual and buy a good reliable brand like Mobile 1 or Castrol. If you really just enjoy spending extra money, buy the Amsoil branded oils.
Being an older bike, I'd personally choose a non-synthetic or synthetic blended 20w-50 from Mobile 1. Decent price, easy to find, long history of good products.
Hmm, exactly what I would expect the killer of someone who actually murders the real "me" and then makes a post saying "it's a me"! Come to think of it, you wrote "it's a me", as opposed to "it's me"! That in itself is a little baffling
What proof do we have your are the real me or the killer of a me?
Nevertheless, it's oil your after, SLV made a good suggestion, go with that one

Could be going for an Italian accent with that one.
