helmet lock on fatbob
A laptop lock like this would work well. If it's a full face you could run it through the helmet itself as opposed to the strap, which is easily cut by a thief.

Not sure why somebody would steal a used helmet anyways, thats kinda like taking somebody's used boxers. You're gonna have their hair in it and its gonna be fit to their "head." But I'm with you, I dont keep my helmet on my bike, even parked in the garage.

I doubt many thieves will cut a strap, because that for the most part renders the helmet useless... but if they do cut the strap they probably need the helmet more than you anyways.
