I have the large. It's the best accessory I've bought. The lumbar pad is great. You'll wonder how you rode without it. It maintains a narrow, modern look on the bike, but it holds a surprising amount of crap!
DougW, that looks great on your bike...what size is it? I have a Low Rider and have been going back & forth between the large and medium. I want to use it mostly for same-day trips...so maybealightjacket, glasses, etc. I like the look of the medium but I am wondering if it will give any decent back support?? And I don't have a sissy bar. The large looks big for a FXDL, but it's hard to tell just from looking at the website. Anyone else have any thoughts/suggestions??

E, I may be wrong here, someone can correct me if so, but I don't think you have any way of fastening the bag down without no sissy bar????? Tim
It has been a few years but I am pretty sure it is the large. If you go with the smaller bag he sends 2 pads for the back rest and you can put one in front and one in back to move it forward.
here is a quick touring mod that only cost $150.00 total, and you have the quality of a tourbike for dirtcheap. its waterproof to. take a look at my sig to see my touring mod i did to my streetbob. great for a fast install and uninstall, about 10 minutes. awesome for touring and when you get to your destination , i just take it off and put my sissybar back on for the rest of the vacation and put the tour pak inmy tent or for some people hotel room.plus i tie a t-bag on top for even more room, plus its waterproof.here is the info, if you want to take a look at it more pics and info. jackyl
