I to own an '07 FXD. I've placed over 60,000 mies on it with only two real issues, both electrical, and both could have been avoided. It runs great. Enjoy!

Usually get 45, almost all highway. Best I have got is just over 50, worst is 42. I don't care for city riding, YMMV. A tune would have to be way off to make that much of a difference, most likely riding style/area.
