Ignition problem fxds 96
I am not getting any spark. Changed the plugs, cables and ignition coil. Also their is a brand new battery in it as well. Going about 40 mph and it just shut off. It turns over but doesn't start. I have 12 volts dc at ignition coil going in. Nothing coming out
Post this in the EVO Classic forum...that being said there are a few things to consider on the ignition, stock? if so check wires coming from nose cone, may be frayed, or the connection on the other end should be behind circuit breaker panel. If these are fine then may be ignition module itself or the rotor cup (both are in nose cone if stock), if there are rivets in the cover it is likely to be stock. Do you have a service manual? There are a bunch of good experienced guys at the EVO forum, way way better than me.
