For me, the smaller headlight doesn't work aesthetically. Moreover, the stock lighting on these bikes is bad enough, I would never want to reduce the light output by going smaller. While I'm at it, I don't like bigger wheels on HDs either... just don't look right.
All that said... it's your bike so do whatever makes you happy and ignore old fuddy-duddy naysayers like me. Your opinion is the only one that counts.
What model is that old Yamaha in the background? I used to have a '80 XJ650 Maxim and I loved that thing. Unfortunately I had to let it sit too long once and ruined the carbs (ethanol gas). Even after rebuilding them all I never could get it to run right.
