Advanced Composites Engineering 1/4 fairing
Has anyone purchased their HD quarter fairing? Wondering if they're any good. Can be found here http://www.advancedcompositeseng.com/motorcycles.cfm
Because I'm under the general impression based in the HD parts website that you can't just go and buy one anymore correct?

I was at two HD dealers last weekend, both had HD 1/4 fairings on display for sale in the parts dept.
Advanced Composites Engineering seems to be a company that makes products for other companies from their designs. The carbon fiber stuff looks good.

Most online HD parts websites are running about a 2 week lead time on the quarter fairing. I'm sure I could walk into a dealer in my area, and buy one that day, but you are gonna pay the full price for it. I just ordered one from kutter hd online for about $232 vs $279 for primered. The downside is the wait.
If I had the funds, the Advanced Composites carbon fiber one would definitely be headed my way! That fairing looks bad ***, and looks like a high quality piece. Just hard to justify $775 for a quarter fairing.
