Let me know how you do the rear fender reflectors, I did the fronts with ease with a little goo gone and some fishing line, I wasn't sure I wanted to use the same approach on my fender so I left them for now. Plus a little bit of side reflection may not be a bad thing, considering eventually there will be 0 chrome.
I used chain cleaner (think sport bike chain) and a nylon tool I have to remove interior trim panels to get the reflector off. Then used more chain cleaner and slow and steady attempts to pull off the tape that held the reflector on with my fingers. The reflectors on the forks were much easier to pull off.

Sure, and since the bike is new it will be just as easy as the front. Really tho just warm it up with a hair dryer, fishing line is fine, I used a strand of string from a cut piece of paracord. Chain Lube, WD40, Goo Gone, any will work, follow up with a lil wax and it will be good. Most of the glue tape will probably just rub off with your finger or thumb since it's new and not yet hardened on there. Also on mine, I removed the rear tail reflector, was going to leave it on for safety but I was riding next to another SB that had it , at night and you can barely see it over the tail lights so I just pulled it off too, it's not as effective as one may think imo.
Thanks all! I planned on working on Amber tomorrow. Too flippin' tired now, no sleep last night as to be expected. I planned on the blow dryer trick, and goo-gone also for the reflectors. Will tweak the handle bars forward a little too to see how I like it. Then go for another ride on one of my loops...

Be sure to use a drop or 2 of blue loc-tite and torque to 26 ft lbs and torque the bolts evenly. Just saying, you may know that already but just in case I thot I'd throw that out there.
Yes, as per Freebaggin, wax your paint after removing the reflectors. Be careful not to bend your fender removing that reflector on the rear. Mine came off easy after I let the chain cleaner soak.
Hi all. I have an amber whiskey Street Bob too. Not much done yet. Just the sundowner seat and backrest for the wife. I have future plans for air cleaner, FP3 and V&H Big Shots.

I love this color as we stand out in the sea of black and chrome. I haven't done much but invert the plate, remove a couple reflectors(not the fork ones yet), and remove the baffles and cats. So many plans, so little funds.
