street bob batwing windscreen questions
Ok so I just got a 06 street bob that came with a batwing faring and a 5inch windscreen. The windscreen is pretty much useless. I ride with a passenger alot so i need a windscreen that will cover her head as well. Keep in mind she is 5foot. I noticed the options are 6" 9" 12" straight design or 6" 9" a curved design. What works better? and what looks better?

What brand is the fairing your running? When you say "curved" do you mean one like the klock werks flare? http://www.kustombaggers.com/NEW-201...logId=-1790#/0

Make sure it not updraft instead
My last bike was a street glide, batwing fairing, 3 inch windshield. I thought it was useless, bought a 6 inch recurve from long ride, still got beat up, bought an 8 inch recurve, same thing only ugly as well as useless. Then while riding I had my hand on my knee and extended my fingers....whoosh, my hand pushed up and I understood then the air beating me up was coming from underneath, not from head on. I bought a set of chrome fork walrus tusks on eBay, put the stock 3 inch windshield back on and I could light a smoke at 55 mph after that. I eventually added the fairing vent wing things from Harley so I could actually direct air to me on hot days. Check it out. I bet you find the same thing.
