I've seen the big wheel craze in the baggers, and while I'm not particularly crazy about it, I think I've thought a big wheel dyna (Switchback or whatever) wouldn't look too bad with it.
I did some searching on google and here and couldn't come up with anything.
Does anyone have or have pics of a big wheel dyna (23"+ wheel)?
-Doesn't even have to have bags or fairing; like a naked big wheel.
I realize it's counter-productive to the dyna line as, I assume, it would take away all of the maneuverability that the dyna line is prevalent with.
There are several forum members with 23s. I know of one with a Street Bob and one Wide Glide, but I haven't seen a Switchback yet.
You might find something on Chopped Baggers. I remember seeing a Switchback build with a 21" spoke wheel on that forum.

I think Mars47 is asking about the big wheel look popular on the touring bikes like this:
IMO, part of that look is the fairing and bags, could happen with a Dyna but I haven't seen any.
Pretty much, yeah and I agree. I've seen road kings with the bags, but no big wheel, so I was wondering if someone did the opposite of that.
When doing the FL front end on mine, I was gonna try to do the big wheel (24"-26") + fender, but then the price was right on that street glide wheel/Fatboy fender.

YUCK.. reminds me of the cars the ghetto lobsters run around in that look like they have Conestoga wagon wheels mounted to the hubs.. ridiculous.. ugly.. unpractical.. unsafe.. and very UN-Cool.. I hate fads.. but hey that's me..
some people will be very critical for even suggesting a big wheel on a Dyna.
I have had a 23" for awhile and it handles great and looks much better than a 21" up front. I have moved onto a 26" ....no pics. The size is only about an inch taller than the 23 because the 26 tire has a smaller profile. Eventually when I get my fender put together I will post it up.
From back when I looked into it, I believe you'll need to add some rake somehow even with 23 so parts won't collide during suspension travel. Notice on the picture of the big wheel bagger above that there is no suspension travel without the fender hitting the fairing. So that one's probably more of a looker than a driver.
A 23 should fit a wideglide fine, because it already has more rake. A 26, probably not.
I was set to do a 23 on my Wideglide, but by the time I got around to finally pulling the trigger, there were already quite a few around, I had gotten a little bored with the look, and figured I'd be spending a bunch of money for something that would go out of style pretty quickly. Thought I'd hold off and wait to see what the next fad is instead.
