The SE's SUCK!!! Sound like a constipated goat...really really suck...
why did I buy them you ask...stealer says if I "modify" the exhaust system with after market pipes I lose warranty coverage....so for now I guess I am stuck with them...gonna take them off and see if I can open them up a bit...or maybe just buy some other slip on's and put the SE's back on if I take it in for service...BTW did I say that the SE's suck sound wise?
This is personal preference in my opinion. Kinda like women, blonde brunette, or redheads, which do you like? yeah, we like em all, but what is your preference. Go and listen to some at a local biker hang if you have one before making a choice if this is all new to you. The Vance and hines are a good choice, but there are so many styles to choose from. Take your time with this decision. I say the same about the air cleaner as there are many more types than just the big sucker.

I think that you got some really bad information. Aftermarket pipes in no way void your bike's warranty. Hell, my dealer sold me my bike with V&H Big Shot Staggereds on it. Get the pipes that you want and I wouldn't worry about the warranty.
