back on topic.....As far as the Vulcan 2000, yes you will give up some power, but a Kawi is not a Harley. The Dyna is a lot lighter and the fun factor on twisties should more than make up for the loss in power. The Vulcan 2000 doesn't have anywhere near the lean angles of a Dyna. Enjoy your new ride.
I know what you are saying about the lean angles. I was constantly dragging my floorboards on my Vulcan 2000. I can drag them at will on just about any curve.
I noticed that with the weight of the Vulcan, my tires didn't last long. It has 8700 miles and they both need replacing. I understand why the rear went so quick with all of that torque available but the front wore out just as fast.
Oh well, after tomorrow replacing the tires is someone elses problem. Not mine.
