Well said, Mentor70. Appreciate the insight. I used to be pretty mechanically inclined and did all my own work on my 4-stroke dirt bikes. I'm just not motivated to did that deep into my Harley...yet. Hell, at this point, it's quick and fast enough. If I ever do the cams, the drives will change too.

there is nothing to "pinch off" alittle oil comes out of the cam case when the cover is pulled.

and a little bit more when the plate comes off, but not much.

just buy new o-rings for everything. and some Evo lifter block centering tools to realign the oil pump.
