Default T-Bar Mount Question

I am considering T-bar handlebars for my 2003 Low rider. Would appreciate it if someone will tell me the maximum rise and pull back I can use with the stock cables and wiring.

I went 10" on my 14 LR without problems. But the brake line is tight.

the 03 has much less cable/wire than the new bikes. When I went to 10 inch t bars on my 05 FXDL, I had to swap everything but my throttle lines. I'd say that you could probably fit 8 inch t bars, but I'm not even certain that would work. Its not worth the swap honestly unless you change the wires and cables.

I have 14" T-bars on my '01, all I had to do was extend the wiring, the clutch and throttle cables worked fine.

The answer to your question also depends on how you like to see your cables dressed, which is why 2 of the answer seem to contradict each other.

Do you want them to parallel the bars or are you ok with them looking stretched to get from end to end?

On my 01 LR I swapped cables to go to 8" t-bars just because I wanted the cables "hidden" by routing along the bars.

I'm considering 6" bars. Based on the comments it sounds like they should fit without modifying the wiring or cables.
