I picked up one of these from a local distro that sells on eBay. First one was DOA but the replacement worked well and I have ridden with it for a couple of thousand miles.
Initial impression is that it does not illuminate the center/sweet spot as well as an HID or halogen but does far better at illuminating the sides. The hi-beams (center 2 projection domes) are angled slightly apart to give a wider center spot.
Overall, this particular type does not give the level of performance as the H-D Daylighter, but does work well. One word of caution, you will lose some of the road during turns so I would recommend running with the hi-beams (when able) to keep the roadway lit.

Not yet, I am having a starting issue so the girl is up on the lift in my garage. Looks exactly like the one on eBay, with a Wide Glide wrapped around it.

So it looks much better than the ones on eBay ?!?
That's no good. Hope you get her figured out. All the "bulbs" don't light up on low beam correct? Do some shut off at high beam?
Just pulled the trigger on this one. I haven't seen any reviews online so I'll be doing one when it comes in. Couldn't imagine buying HDs daymaker for the $$.
ps. Does anyone have ideas for a BRIGHT brake light? I plan on tinting my OEM and want to balance it out.

There are two horizontal "D" lenses that are the running/lo-beam lights and two in the vertical that are orbital lenses, these are the hi-beams. The lo-beams are always on.

Maybe this is some of the lighting difference from the Daymaker. My buddy's Daymaker's on his Roadglide have both D-shaped lenses lit AND the top orbital lens lit for low beam. Only the bottom orbital lens comes on for the highbeam. I noticed this over this last weekend riding through the night.
Bought mine from www.hawglenses.com. Paid a little more but customer service is top notch. I'm much happier and it's much brighter than the eBay special led replacement bulb I had. Brights went out about 2 months after I bought it. Lows were hardly better than stock. I would never spend day maker prices so this was a good choice for my pocket book. We shall see on the longevity side as we ride on.
