Default new seat

bike is 14 lowrider

i have a few seats because i had my 06 since it was new and traded it in for the 14 and they use the same seats.

I have a rsd boss solo and this seat is bad ***. It is the best looking seat ive seen on a dyna. It is not too comfortable for long rides, but is fine for local stuff. I cant use my throwover bags with this seat because of how it mounts and i usaully keep the bags on most of the winter. I will keep this seat for sure.

i have a mustange vintage solo with thin passenger pad. This is the seat i put most of the miles on the last bike with. It is pretty comfortable, but sometimes seems like i am sitting too high on the bike. i might sell or trade this seat if i find something else.

i have the stock 14 lowrider seat and when it was new i thought it was good. I rode from SA to sturgis on the seat with no trouble, but now it is just a year old and its like the foam is already breaking down or something. I actually like the feel of this seat i just get sore in the tail bone and back too soon. also i think it is alittle too far forward. I might sell or trade this seat if i find something else.

I could use advise on trying a new seat. Comfort is the main goal. has to be a two up, but doestnt need much of a big passenger seat because my wife rarely rides anymore, just local rides if she goes at all. In a perfect world it would be low and back and have a dense foam, not hard but dense. Cant be one that is concave, like im seating in a bowl, like most corbins, for some reason i cant stand that type of seat. no backrest

workin mans salary too
any advise appreciated

Default Mean City Cycles

Pick one of your seats you like the best and send it to Mean City Cycles to be reworked with memory foam and/or gel. Go to www.meancitycycles.com and check out the options. Then call them up and they will guide you thoroughly. Very reasonable and professional people.
Good luck!

I might try the mean city treatment on the stock seat. Better foam may be all it needs.

Anybody have an input on mean city?

Will have feedback soon. Having a 2014 low rider seat done. Position is basically ok just the foam crushes too easily. My seat was just delivered to him today for him to work on October 9. Have tried 3 other seats so far ... Hoping this does the trick.

C&C Seats is the only way I'll ever go again. Extremely reasonable prices and the seats are made in America, unlike that chinese slick saddle crap. I like the square back, personally.

FWIW, Danny Grey seats used to be made by C&C until about 6 months ago, if my memory serves correct. The older Danny Grey stuff was amazing, as it was rebranded C&C. The new Danny Grey stuff, while I can't speak to personally, is rumored to be of much lower quality.

Saddlemen Explorer. Same position as stock 2up. Has crease between back and seat that really helps posture and prevents tailbone soreness.

Mustang Regal Duke. Most comfortable seat I ever rode on with a Dyna platform. I never ever have to shift myself around, it's not the slickest looking seat but it is awesome. My GF loves the rear seat too.
