Ok, 28-31" is like the average width I'm seeing among standard T-bars...anyone on this forum run any narrower that might provide some feedback?

Ive got 20 inch wide bars on my chopper and they are comfortable and control the bike VERY well. I just went wider for the dyna since I wanted 1.25 inch T bars and most really narrow bars are either 7/8 or 1 inch. For reference, I am 6'1 and I find bars that are 1ish inches tall and 20 inches wide the most comfortable.

edit: just know that the steering will be MUCH more sensitive with narrow bars. I prefer it that way, but I also don't go much faster than 70 on my chopper... (it's quite slow)

Hey, I'm 6'1 too! Thanks for the input! I feel more like buying these 24" wide Clown Car bars already!

Looks, comfort, safety, or all? I never go narrower than my shoulders.
