They do. Gary walks on his right elbow and Roger walks on his right rear leg like a rabbit. It's something that happens with large litters, they get crowded and the limbs deform before birth. I took them to two of the best vets to see if they could be surgically repaired with no luck. The vets told me what I already guessed; they're in no pain and if we keep their weight down there's no reason they won't live as long as other cats. They run thru the house like a heard of elephants.
They can't jump like regular cats so if you want them to have access to something you have to give them something to climb on. They like going outside but they don't leave the yard. In that way, I DO think they know they have limitations and don't want to push their luck. I never had a pet before this or even knew anything about cats. I guess the idea of helping something that nobody else wanted appealed to me.
Here are my three little monsters. They are 1 year, 10 years and 14 years old. Had them all from when they were pups. Not very ferocious, but they have great ears and let me know if anyone is around.
