Having a bit of trouble here in the UK getting a pair of sissy bar mounting plates for my 07 Bob..
Looks like there is only one type from the dealer here.. and i want just the mounting plates so i can attach my own home made bar..just for tieing my tent etc. to it.
does anyone know if any other side plates for other models will fit on a street bob?, as they may be easier to get here..

I have recently researched what was available for use as sideplates for a 06 Super Glide. Everything I saw listed plates unique to the 06 and 07 Dynas (except the Wide Glide). I could not find any alternatives.
Will J & P Cycles or one of the other aftermarket stores ship accross the pond?

Not trying to hijack, but I have seen that the Kuryakyn side plates and others like them all mount to the swing arm. There is no good place to do this for the 2007 WG (which is why they all state that they dont work for the WG). Has anyone found an alternative?
