any ideas for getting those pinch clamps off? i'm not feeling the dremel for this close to the fuel.
I used a thin flat blade screwdriver to lift up the end of the clamp then a pair of small needle nose pliers to peel it back and over the notch, once you start to peel the clamp around you can get it off. Spin the ends of the crossover tube to be certain they're broke free from the tank; have your new crossover cut and ready to go and you won't lose too much fuel, I lost about 2 cups at most...

I used a pair of new (sharp) cutting nippers and clipped off the pinched ends.

OP - do you have any issue with clutch cable? I used the same kit on my LR and my clutch cable gets caught between the lift and the top triple tree clamp when the bars are in park position. May have to pull a little more cable out due to the height of my T bars...

the bike has not been out of the garage due to suit and tie activity. i will test it, but it should not have been affected. i'll watch out for it

Even running 2" DK riser extensions I'm not having any issues with the tank lift, Mchad's T-Bars must be angling the clutch cable just right to catch the tank lift...

Good pics. Thanks. I was planning a 2" lift but I think I'll do 1.5" instead. I'd prefer not to see the backbone peaking out from under the tank. I'm very interested to see your pics after the rear lift goes on. I'm planning that too.
