Yep. All good points. Nudged me over the decision fence. Just ordered it.
I think you'll really like them once you get them dialed in. Set them at the specs. in the manual that you'll get, and then go out on a nice ride with a alan wrench that fits your adjusters. After riding a good bit go 2 turns on one side in either direction and see how it reacts. If it's not good, go 4 the other direction and see what it does. By doing either rebound or compression one at a time, you get it dialed in. I ended up with rebound setting on 9-10, and compression at 12 which is what the manual called for. ( mine called for 12 on both)
I should also say go over on youtube and look up some of Dan Moss's videos. Do a search on 1 click out and you'll find them. He's the tuning guru for Ohlins on sportbikes, and you'll pick up some REALLY good info from the videos.

Mchad - can you pm me with where you are buying the kit? No one has them in stock and they are all saying mid July at the earliest. And, no one is offering a discount, either. The best deal I have found so far is free shipping because of the dollar amount, but they don't have any, either.
Just got my tracking number and my repeat customer/forum discount (not sure of the difference/breakdown but I'll take it!) so it should arrive early next week. I am not as comfortable with my technical ability as you, Frederic and w.glide, when it comes to parts that can put me sliding across the pavement, so my dealer will be doing the install. Hopefully during the week of the 4th while I'm in vacation. I'll report back at that time.

Sweet! And i'll have to add your a smart man. If you don't feel comfortable doing a job like that, get a professional to do it. Both Frederic and myself turn wrenches for a living, but there is several things I would not attempt myself. Heck, you may be a brain surgeon for all I know, and I dang sure wouldn't attempt that!
