Hey Everyone.. I just received a the Swing Arm Lift Kit/Shock Extender by Bung King for Christmas and I was wondering what your thoughts were on this kit?
The reason I wanted it is because I'm too broke to upgrade my suspension but I wanted more ground clearance (i.e. scraping the **** out of my TH and pegs).
Also if anyone has installed this kit before and could give me any advice, I would greatly appreciate it, as I cant find anything online.

This kit will go on my 2015 FXDB.
I put this kit on a 2010 FXDC for the same reasons you listed, $$$ and clearance. To the trained eye it looked a little funky, but I was pleased with the result. I achieved the look I was after and did not notice any diminished handling. Attached should be a pic of the kit installed on that bike.

A cheap way to gain clearance, I wouldnt let it be permanent. Just use it until you can afford longer shocks so you have the clearance, good performing, and more comfortable riding bike.
If I remember correctly I loosened the bolts, put the bike on a center stand/jack, removed the lower shock bolt, installed the bracket and put it all back together with some locktite blue. I don't remember it taking too long or giving me any grief. Be sure to snap a pic and post it when you are finished. There are very few pictures of this floating around in the interweb.
