Yup, It's monitoring the condition of your battery. When it's red or yellow...plug in the tender.

The cable that the OP has will only flash red when the battery needs charged. You won't see and other colors from that pig tail.

Thanks guys ... It's a brand new bike I'm surprised in needs to be charged already ...

When I got my Street Bob it needed a new battery in a month. You never know how long they sit around before you buy 'em.

mine is ALWAYS kept on the tender.. average 5 years out of a battery

I wonder if it works with the Deltran charger?

Thank u everyone didn't even know my bike came with it ... Fed need to put it alon charger starting have hard starts
